This article seeks to understand the construction of identities of political women based on the narratives generated on Twitter from 2018 to 2022 (Mariana Gómez del Campo and Francia Márquez Case). The methodology used consisted mainly of the analysis of messages issued by Latin American female politicians, based on three main categories: behavior, type of opinion and contribution to dialogue. It is highlighted that the political sphere has been composed mostly of men, but that female participation has increased thanks to "gender quotas." Regarding Twitter, it is concluded that it is an important tool for active political participation and to promote gender equality.
