QUINTERO RODRIGUEZ, Daniel Acacio. TECHNOLOGICAL SIMULATIONS AND THE VIRTUAL IDENTITY “RESIGNIFICACIÓN”. Punto Cero [online]. 2022, vol.27, n.45, pp.41-54. Epub 30-Dic-2022. ISSN 1815-0276. https://doi.org/10.35319/puntocero.20224527.
The transformation that has led from homo faber that constituted the material towards a homo informaticus that constitutes itself in virtuality, gives rise to study an underlyin identity phenomenon with “policontexturales” features. Undoubtedly, the Social Representations (RRSS) allow us to understand those expressions that are not physical, but cognitively affect the individual and collective behavior of contemporary society. Based on the above, different ways of giving a new meaning also arise which shape aspects of identity that must be made visible from the understanding of Social Imaginaries (SI). Therefore, the RRSS/ SI will be taken as theoretical references to explain the computer backgrounds that lead to the phenomenon of identity re-signification.
