This article presents an approach to the transformations that took place in the underlying representations in the legislation to curb gender violence in the province of Salta, Argentina. In particular, from the contributions of the analysis of the socio-semiotic base discourse, the readable representational paradigms are observed in the Provincial Law of Intrafamily Violence, No. 7403 (2006), the decree / law of Public Emergency for gender violence in the province, N 7857 (2014) and adherence to the Micaela Law, No. 27,499 (2019). The results show the relationship between the interpretative changes of the problem of gender violence with the construction of a global gender legal order, certain national and regional advances for the institutionalization of a gender agenda, and the impulse of the rise of the massive feminist mobilizations.
