The inter- disciplinary and trans-disciplinary approach that academia adopts within the paradigm of complexity can be approached from communication as a discipline, object, method and intervention strategy. The understanding of reality from the perspective and subjectivity of the subjects is widely discussed in theory but its implementation in research is not generalized. Research should be aimed at solving social problems with the participation of actors in order to improve people’s quality of life.
