Abstract

GUILHERME, Canela. Public policies on communication and their incidence on society. Punto Cero [online]. 2021, vol.26, n.42, pp.17-23. ISSN 1815-0276.

The core of the discussion about public policies on communication at this time is the consequence of the fact that, for several decades, researchers in the field of communication have dedicated their work to the analysis and design of public policies (ANDI, 2007). Nevertheless, we have done it in a very frequently isolated way, in the sense that we did not have the necessary interdisciplinarity and multidisciplinarity to work on a complex, multi-faceted subject which needs different actors for these policies to be effective in order to build better citizenship in relation to these subjects.

Keywords : Public Policies; Communication; Latin America.
