The present investigation seeks to find the application of the process of data verification in the exercise of traditional written journalism based on the perception of journalists of the newspaper Los Tiempos y Opinión. As journalism and data verification are new areas in Bolivia, interviews are conducted with experts in the subject that works in data verification entities of Chequeado (Argentina), PolitiFact (United States), Ojo Público (Peru) and Ecuador Check (Ecuador). The experts help to form concepts and processes around the verification of data so that it can be applied in Bolivia. Likewise, interviews are carried out with journalists from all the sections of the main newspapers in Cochabamba: Los Tiempos and Opinión.
