The study of discursive forms and uses of information on environmental risk from educational community close to the municipal dump of garbage in Cochabamba, it allowed reviewing experiences and processes, described, for understanding how risk is in this particular context. Thus, the risk understands from academic scientific discourse mediated by educational processes, mass communication and social networks, provoking emancipatory actions in the people but with vision of development as a modernizing economic progress and a vague understanding of the relations of human beings with nature and environment as an essential factor for the situations of disaster and environmental risk.
