Abstract

MAMANI YAPURA, Víctor Hugo. Los senderos de la oralidad y la escritura en el ayllu Sikuya. Punto Cero [online]. 2016, vol.21, n.32, pp.95-103. ISSN 1815-0276.

This article is about the ideas that people from ayllu Sikuya have built on the role of writing. While local people have been keeping their cultural traits through spoken language, the Nation - State has always been imposing them the Spanish writing and their own ideas. This fact has forced indigenous societies to learn at schools their oppressors’ language. At the beginning, the school was a place to learn the State’s language. Today, in the indigenous perception, learning how to write is a mechanism to demand the Government their collective and individual rights in order to be recognized as citizens. From this perspective, we will analyze the dynamics of the Greco-Roman writing.

Keywords : AYLLU; WRITING; SPOKEN LANGUAGE; ESTATE.
