Abstract

SANCHEZ ECHEVARRIA, Mireya. EVA EXPULSADA DEL PARAÍSO: ALGUNAS REFLEXIONES SOBRE LA EXCLUSIÓN DE LA MUJER EN LA CONSTRUCCIÓN DEL ORDEN PATRIARCAL. Punto Cero [online]. 2016, vol.21, n.32, pp.21-35. ISSN 1815-0276.

The following work reconstructs, from a standpoint on feminist anthropology, a new way on viewing history from two moments of change in which a system of principles and vital values, both sensitive and intuitive, were replaced by another one based on reason and violence. This cleavage brought domination and subjugation of nature, of men and people considered “inferior” and, specifically, women, who were transformed into private property and excluded from the new patriarchal civilization order. The article sustains that the exclusion of women from history, religion, sciences, and arts, enabled and still enables social, cultural, and individual trauma, within the psyche of modern human beings. The work allows visualizing original symbols of a latent matriarchal order which still remains in the ancestral imaginary, and the possibilities that it offers as a system of principles and vital values to understand, explain and transform the world with a model that is more dialectical, supportive, and creative.
