The paper proposes an approach to the Bolivian cinema from his particular use of space. In this perspective, it propose to understand the development of our cinematography based on two concepts: the aesthetics of circularity and dichotomous spaces. These two notions are part of the general category of Mediterranean cinema. The concepts that are extracted from an aesthetic analysis of the most representative works of Bolivian cinema provides insight into their continuities and ruptures.
