This article is a reflection on the international cooperation experience between Universidad Nacional de Jujuy (UNJu) and Asociación Boliviana de Investigadores en Comunicación (ABOIC), for the purpose of building a collaborative map of Research in Communication and Media Studies from an inclusive, complex and relational perspective, which intends to aboard actor’s every day practices and points of view. Firstly, we describe our own academic biographies within the social and institutional contexts where they are inscribed. Secondly, we will explore the place of Bolivia and the Bolivians in the communication and media analysis research area in Jujuy, through the analysis of thesis and research programs related. Finally, we will analyze teaching plans and contents, through the description of Bolivian bibliography included in the Communication degree courses at UNJu.
