Resumo

GOMEZ MALLEA, Antonio. The Right to Information as Legal Framework of Journalist’s Freedom of Speech Right. Punto Cero [online]. 2013, vol.18, n.26, pp.33-50. ISSN 1815-0276.

This article, as part of a doctoral thesis, intends to prove that only the right to information can solidly support the journalist’s right to freedom of speech. This idea can be found in in the international legal framework, around the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights of 1948, and in the inter-American legal framework, around the American Convention of San Jose, Costa Rica, of 1969.
