DIAZ JIMENEZ, Miguel Á.. The film maker condition. AestheticPhilosophical and Political Bets in Cinematographic Work. Punto Cero [online]. 2012, vol.17, n.25, pp.55-64. ISSN 1815-0276.
The understanding of the artistic classic and contemporary film productions suggests its treatment as arts, because the cinematographic work operates a reinterpretation of the art idea itself. Thus, as a 20th century modern invention and art, cinema demands something more than an aesthetic judgment respect the other arts. By its specificity cinema has aesthetic demands that go to the very foundation of the arts. Therefore, its "industrial art" status does not revea) its aesthetic peculiarity, but just a general character motivated by a qualifying trend of art history. For that reason, we need to understand that sense of art that cinema opens and from which it understands itself and allows understanding modern arts.
