This didactic innovation proposal aimed to build up the communicative competence skills of the National Secondary School "Juan Capriles" students through the production of biographical texts as teaching proposal that allows the understanding of the recursive process of writing. Theoretically based on textual communicative approach: communicative because it understands that the fundamental function of language is communication between people, and textual because the oral and written expression of a communication translates into a text. Methodologically she was supported in the qualitative approach and was supported by a research - action with a design in four phases: diagnostic, proposed teaching design, implementation of the plan of action and evaluation.
