Abstract

VEGA CHUQUIMIA, Ana Karina. Trends in the Scientific Essay in the Journal Punto Cero (1995 - 2010). Punto Cero [online]. 2012, vol.17, n.25, pp.17-26. ISSN 1815-0276.

This essay began with the study of the characteristics of thematic, theoretical and methodological trends in communication research, published in Bolivian author's scientific essays in Punto Cero, the Catholic University of Cochabamba's communication magazine and the most representative journal because its continuity and its comprehensive history between 1995 and 2010. The methodological approach was qualitative and quantitative. The trends identified in the 82 articles analyzed showed the predominance of issues related to the area of Communication and Society and the preferential application of critical theoretical perspective and qualitative method.
