Abstract

The Disembodiment of Music Production and the Reintegration of Languages. Punto Cero [online]. 2009, vol.14, n.19, pp.61-73. ISSN 1815-0276.

Abstract The ICT and the mass media are transforming the ways of making music. The most primitive ways of musical expression which have endured throughout history, and have served as an extension of emotions through the human body, are being converted to a direct expression of the brain thanks to the possibility of digital communication manipulation. The communication rituals among people with their myths of origin now happen to mythologize the mass entertainment heroes.

Keywords : Communication; music; digital language; analogue language; disembodiment; mass entertainment.
