Abstract The intertextual universe shows a rich and constant process in change. The TV, as a media of mass, has been explored for the artistic way of the soap opera with instigantes intertextuais experimentations. To portray this question of the intertextualidade on the television, this work adopted as study, Tropical Paradise, of Gilbert Braga and Ricardo Linhares, propagated by Rede Globo of Television. To delimit the object, was selected the couple Bebel (Camila Pitanga) and Olavo (Wagner Moura). The tram presents a strong features of sex, power and money and preserve the dramaturgic sense to the complement of the richest intertextuais relations.
