Resumen

This essay, specially directed to students and lovers of audio-visual production, intends to support the idea that, beyond the economic hindrances resulting from our environment, it is still possible to make cinema as an artistic manifestation in spite of the generation gap that exists between the idea of  a local cinema and Hollywood. We are going to take basic points for the analysis, from the handling of the camera to the handling of aesthetics; in all some encouragement for those who want to set off in  the audio-visual art and need an introductory theory. Obviously, this essay does not intend to be a recipe to make fiction but is rather a set of clues for those interested in creating audio-visual messages using creativity as a starting point and with the conviction that barriers do not exist when talking aboutart and creation. Yet, we must not forget the necessary technical knowledge on the skills and the techniques required for making cinema, even if covered without much depth.
