This essay is in fact a review of what goes on in terms of the multiplicity of links between war and communication be it in technological, psychological and other dimensions.  From a chronological perspective, and considering several warlike facts of the last decades and specially of the most recent years, our goal is to discussthe ways the links are reconfigured and restructured as a result, particularly, of the impact of the new ITʼs, the mutual influence in the approaches of warmongers and the mass media effort and, finally, the war against terror.
