The major elements found are fragments of multicellular trichomes, vessels associated with tissue parenchyma with stomata, lignified fibers and cortical parenchyma. The pharmacognostic analysis showed a moisture content of 7.78%, 18.31%of total ash, 5.97% of acid ash, 0.584% of unknown elements, and swelling Índex 19.46 ml.
