Brown-Séquard syndrome is the set of signs and symptoms caused by spinal hemisection of various origins. This is a 24-year-old male patient, born and resident of the city of La Paz, with no significant pathological or family history; His clinical condition began in March 2022 after suffering an assault with a knife, causing a sharp wound in the left cervical region approximately 3 centimeters long; On physical examination, he presented left brachiocrual hemiparesis (ipsilateral to the injury) with a muscle balance of -3/5 on the Daniels scale in addition to alterations in gross tactile and proprioceptive sensitivity; hypoalgesia, thermal hypoesthesia and fine tactile hypoesthesia in the right hemibody (contralateral to the injury).
