Externalized cervical myoma associated with pregnancy is a rare presentation pathology. The involvement will depend on the location of the myomatosis and its dimensions. Although the exact growth of this pathology during pregnancy is not known, fibroids increase morbidity during pregnancy, both for the mother and the child.
The objective of this article is to present the case of a 16.3 weekpregnancy, threatened abortion and cervical myoma exteriorized to the vagina treated by myomectomy prior to wedge morcellation, Diagnosed and treated in the Gynecology Service of the Third Level Women’s Hospital. Attention La Paz-Bolivia in a 33-year- old female patient, who after going to the emergency service and carrying out a review and complementary studies, reached the aforementioned Diagnosis.
In the national and international literature, after the systematic review, several writings about this entity were not found, I feel this is a way to begin the case study of this rare variety of gynecological-obstetric pathology, in turn, expand knowledge not only theoretical-practical. , but rather means of experimental clinical-surgical therapeutics used based on evidence, thus evaluating the results and long-term repercussions.
