The concept of the patient as a person is considered and valued, both in common language, medical language and of the sick person. The visions of the person as a patient are exposed; the mechanical vision and the humanistic visions: phenomenological, Cassell person notion, Tauber self and the other, Engel bio-psicho-social and the person centered medicine. Humanize medicine to solve the current health crisis.
