Adhesive capsulitis is defined as the progressive loss of passive and active mobility of the shoulder and is accompanied by diffuse pain that predominates in the anterolateral region of the shoulder. Hydrodylation is the procedure of infiltration of physiological solution plus lidocaine for the dilation of the joint capsule. Blockade of the suprascapular nerve as a purpose to decrease the omalgia during hydrodylation. A quasi-experimental, longitudinal, analytical, prospective study was carried out in 28 men and women between 36 and 72 years of age during June 2017 to April 2018 at the Geriatrics and Gerontology Integral Rehabilitation Medical Center (CEMERINGG); Hydrodilation was performed with 15 cc of physiological solution plus 2% lidocaine without epinephrine, in addition of performing suprascapular nerve block (BNSE) using the Dangoisse technique; the test for functionality of the shoulder of Constant Murley and the visual analog pain scale (EVA) was applied at the beginning, at two weeks and at one month. According to the Constant Murley test there was an improvement of 62.3 at two weeks and 71.3 a month to perform the invasive procedures; the EVA improved from 7.6 at the start to 3.3 a month. There is a confidence interval of 0.05.
