Abstract
RIVERO RICO, Daniel Fernando and CALLA DURANDAL, Edwin. Balance system in a spoon for feeding people with movement disorders in the upper extremities. RevActaNova. [online]. 2019, vol.9, n.1, pp.53-81. ISSN 1683-0789.
The tremors are characterized by a rhythmic and anomalous movement of different parts of the body, these variations and oscillatory, in this article focuses on the affected hands was developed a technological contribution by a prototype for the spoon providing stability, safety and autonomy in feeding, so that their characteristics of tremors were studied to project the controller by three stages of a mechatronic design. The stability of the system was found to signals with low intensity at frequencies lower than 5 Hz, it was stabilized by applying a PID adaptive tuning controller for its versatile characteristics versus time varying systems.
