HERNANDEZ, J. L. Félix; ALVARADO-CORONA, R.; MOTA-HERNANDEZ, C. I.  y  ESTEVA M., L.. Structural integrity analysis in bridge by lateral seismic load. RevActaNova. [online]. 2018, vol.8, n.4, pp.593-603. ISSN 1683-0789.

Analyzing the conditions and characteristics of design and behavior in bridge structures, is considered fundamental given its relevance to facilitate the transport of products, transfers, movements and in general to facilitate the human condition. The article reports the displacements by lateral seismic load in a bridge type structure, when the bridge is subject to seismic excitation, its structural safety is vulnerable to the presence of lateral load both in its superstructure and in its infrastructure, influencing its structural integrity, for its analysis, it uses the methodology of virtual work, the results of the analysis of the displacements by lateral load, it denotes in 45% percentage of its collapse, when receiving the first impulse of lateral load in the deck of the bridge and with a probability of fails by 67%, the above based on the analysis, reflection and synthesis applied. More research is necessary, using other tools to evaluate and compare the results obtained and thus enrich the process.

Palabras clave : Reliability; earthquake; bridges; displacement.
