Abstract

VASQUEZ HURTADO, Jorge Hernán. Study of variables that influence to achieve maximum throughput on a path of a multi-hop multi-channel wireless system. RevActaNova. [online]. 2012, vol.5, n.4, pp.445-461. ISSN 1683-0789.

This paper deals with the study of the variables that influence to achieve maximum data transfer capacity in a journey of a multi -hop multi - channel wireless system. The methodology consisted of performing simulations using the modified to support multi-channel software ns2, varying in each of these simulations a number of variables that influence these systems, such as the number of intermediate nodes, the number channels, the size of the data packets and the size of the queue of these packets in each of the nodes. Finally, a set of results that were processed with statistical analysis software SPSS were obtained, using techniques such as Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and hypothesis tests for comparison of means was obtained.

Keywords : Principal Component Analysis; multi - channel; multi -hop; OFDM; Hypothesis Testing; Wireless System.
