Research question Is the Ministry of Health and Sports accomplishing its tasks in relation to the essential functions of public health? Objective To assess the opinion of health workers concerning the performance of the Ministry of Health and Sports Design Exploratory, cross sectional and descriptive research. Method Anonymous and self-administered inquiry. Results The mean value assigned to each essential function was 5 of 10 possible points indicating a regular performance.
