Objectives To communicate the utility of the endoscopic ultrasonography in the diagnosis and the therapeutic decisión in the gastrointestinal subepithelial tumors. Design Clinical cases Place Instituto de Gastroenterología Boliviano Japonés - La Paz Unit of endoscopic ultrasonography. Patients Four patients with subepithelial tumors. Discussion We emphasize the most important aspects for diagnosis and treatment of the endoscopic ultrasound method in subepithelial tumors of the gastrointestinal tract.
