Resumen
MIRANDA, P et al. LAGO EXPERIMENT CHACALTAYA 2013. Revista Boliviana de Física [online]. 2014, vol.24, n.24, pp.19-32. ISSN 1562-3823.
Another stage of the LAGO (Large Aperture Gamma Ray Burst Observatory) experiment starts since September 2012, with modern electronic implementation consisting of two cards: one three-channel ADC, and other FPGA (Nexys2) that reads signals each 25 ns. This new device is compact; it has been tested for functionality and the detectors of the experiment were recalibrated. Due to the greater benefits of the sowtware, we could register counts every 5 ms for 7 thresholds per channel; count coincidences were observed among the three channels. We present the current results of the time variation of the three Cherenkov detectors operating since 2009 in the Chacaltaya mountain (La Paz, Bolivia), as well as the valuation of this equipment. The daily and monthly counts can be consulted online via internet. We have observed that the daily variations are correlated with variations in pressure and with the Forbush decrease in the solar activity
