This study sets out to generate a monthly representation of the pluvial precipitation for the future scenarios of 2020 and 2085 using data from the meteorological stations of Patacamaya and Calacoto. We analyzed the principal frequency components and statistical regionalization. In both stations our future scenarios reproduce fairly well the pattern of monthly preci­pitation with respect to its intra-annual distribution. However, taking into account seasonal differences, we observed in Patacamaya a virtual decrease in precipitation for the austral summer while during winter there was no significant change. In Calacoto, future scenarios did not show significant changes in precipitation for both monthly and season time periods.
