    Abstract

    On September 15, 2007, at 16:40 (UT) 2007 a meteorite impacted Earth producing a crater of 13 m - diameter and 5 m - depth. Located at the coordinates 16°39'52"S and 69°02'39"W, and local altitude of 3825masl in the municipality of Carancas in Peru, close to the border with Bolivia. In the present article two possible tests were carried out to determine the direction of precedence of the meteorite. Data of the event registered by the San Calixto observatory's infrasound station in Bolivia was obtained to carry out numerical calculations.
