Abstract

PLAZA ZAMORANO, Antonio et al. National vaccination campaign for the elimination of rubella and the congenital rubella syndrome, Bolivia 2006. Rev. bol. ped. [online]. 2007, vol.46, n.2, pp.90-94. ISSN 1024-0675.

In order to eradicate rubella in the Bolivian population and in its congenital form, the government undertook a national immunization campaign aimed at the 15 to 39 years old population. Government as well as non-government organizations participated in this effort. The post campaign covered 94% of the population, who welcomed the widespread effort. All immunization campaigns will be successful with the right planning and determination.
