Abstract

Importance of diagnostic coronary arteries testing in asymptomatic myocardial ischemia . Gac Med Bol [online]. 2019, vol.42, n.2, pp.156-158. ISSN 1012-2966.

In Myanmar, with recent advances in cardiac intervention and diagnostic capacity, we discuss different techniques on the proper diagnosis of different types of coronary heart disease. We reviewed a case with a known vascular disease diagnosed by coronary arteries by CT and then, it was discovered that it was a two-vessel disease when the diagnostic cardiac catheterization was performed. We discuss the uses and limitations of various cardiac tests, including coronary computed tomography angiography (CCTA), cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (cMRI), diagnostic cardiac catheterization (CC), multidetector computed tomography (MDCT) through from a review of the literature.

Keywords : coronary artery disease; coronay stenosis; coronary angiography; methods.
