Abstract

Application of the survey instrument PHEEM Roff et al. in medical specialty residents in the Facultad de Medicina of the Universidad Mayor de San Simón.. Gac Med Bol [online]. 2015, vol.38, n.2, pp.47-51. ISSN 1012-2966.

Abstract Objectives: To apply the Postgraduate Hospital Educational Environment Measure (PHEEM) with residents of specialties and subspecialties of the Faculty of Medicine of the Universidad Mayor de San Simón. Methods: It's performed a quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional study, with a universe of 95 resident volunteers, 85 residents was the final sample, whose inclusión criteria were voluntary filling instrument and exclusión criteria were incomplete filling of data identification or specialty hospital. Results:The final score showed 83.5 which means"more positive than negative educational environment with space for improvement in whole the Viedma Hospital Conclusions: The continuous academic improvement must be generated from continuous assessment performed by applying the PHEMM survey, for contributing to the international standards that are handled by schools professionalized human resource training in the área of health. Must also be objective and priority of Gradúate Scholl and Continuing education , in coordination with the DEMyP , develop a continuous training programs for teachers trainers on planning , educational environment, Educational Innovation and ICT In addition to developing instruments Continuous evaluation of teachers Instructors specialty residences.
