Abstract Objective. determine the Clinical and Laboratory Correlation co-infected patients Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome and crypto-coccal meningitis in patients admitted to the Hospital Viedma in Cochabamba, Bolivia during the period September 2 005 to July 2 014. Material and methods: a retrospective descriptive study of patients hospitalized with HIV-AIDS in the Hospital Viedma who studied with cryptococcal infection in the period between 2005 to 2014 approach to the analysis of the study was quantitative was performed. Results: 83% of patients with cryptococcal meningitis were enrolled with severe immunosuppression with CD4 counts below 100 mm3. The alteration of consciousness present in 50% of patients, headache in 23%, meningeal signs by 20%. The review cyto chemical cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) emphasizes the low cellularity only 40% of the total.
