Abstract

Among the diseases that cause acute abdominal surgery, there are several that must be considered and therefore, it's important to discriminate respect to various differential diagnosis. We report a case of an adolescent patient with the diagnosis of acute abdomen, which was considered in a beginning as an appendix origin problem. With subsequent rectification of diagnosis at the moment of the laparotomy, finding out that it was a Meckel's Perforated necrotic Diverticulum, with important compromise of the terminal ileum, drawing attention to a hole in the ileocecal junction.The procedure performed consisted on the resection of terminal ileum, cecum, appendix and ascending colon, becauseof an important compromise of blood supply.
