PARDO GHETT, Evelin De and ARANDIA VALDEZ, Rubén. Perinatal factors asociated to neonatal morbimortality . Gac Med Bol [online]. 2008, vol.31, n.1, pp.5-13. ISSN 1012-2966.
The Perinatal mortality is all every social, cultural and geographic space; and it is sensible to different actions that attend to change it favourably. It is an indirect indicator of general health condition in pregned women (prenatal, labour and neonatal period cuality control and the ocurrence of mother and neonatal complications). The purpose of this study is to know perinatal and gestational conditionants that affect neonatal morbimortality in our environment with a contoled study in NICU of the HMIGU, from july to november of 2003, and to determine the rate of brute nenonatal mortality in our service. We had studied in a prospective, longitudinal and analitic form 140 cases and 140 controls. The results show that respiratory painless syndrome, prematurity and suffocation are conditionants to be admitted in ICU; determinants of neonatal mortality are level education and the actual maternal patology (PMR > 12 hs, preamture labour threat, Urine Infections), intubation antecedent in neonatal reanimation.
