The present work evaluates the use of human amniotic membrane for surgical reconstruction of cavities with contractured coats. We show three cases in which the contracture has made no possible to use ocular prosthesis, because retraction severity. In the three patients we found retractile cavities, with simblefarón, and extrusión of the previously implanted prosthesis. We do an analysis of the surgical technique, method to get membrane, its use in the reconstruction, the recommendations, the benchmark of aesthetic and functional results in the three patients with a monitoring of six months.
