Abstract
VERA-MARMANILLO, Verónika Isela and QUISPE CHAVEZ, Edwin Harol. Modelamiento de la dispersión de PM10 de las ladrilleras del distrito de San Jerónimo Cusco. Rev. Bol. Quim [online]. 2023, vol.40, n.5, pp.11-20. ISSN 0250-5460. https://doi.org/10.34098/2078-3949.40.5.2.
Modeling of the dispersion of PM10 from the brick kiln of the district of San Jerónimo Cusco. The modeling of the geographical dispersion of PM10 produced by the brick sector in the San Jerónimo district, using the AERMOD VIEW10 software was carried out. In accordance with the USEPA protocol, and following the Aermod View program, the measurement of parameters and values was carried out in situ, in a brick kiln: dimensions of the kiln, plume exit velocity, gas exit temperature, fuel consumption, cooking time and raw materials. The values were entered into the Aermod View program in version 9.9.0, determining the type of terrain and identifying the emission sources. The results are shown in the PM10 dispersion map of the brick sector, where it was identified that the monitoring point CA-SJ- 01 presents a concentration of 133.12 µg/𝑚3, being the point that exceeds the ECA for air. It is concluded that there is a direct relationship between the dispersion of pollutants and the meteorological parameters of wind speed and direction, validating the air quality monitoring carried out by the OEFA.
