ABSTRACT RNA-seq has become the tool of choice for transcriptome studies. Transcriptome provides key information about global changes of an organism under certain conditions at a determined moment. Next-Generation Sequencing technology has made transcriptomic studies available for everyone, increasing the demands of researchers within the bioinformatic field. Therefore, in the present review we are describing the bioinformatics workflow, analysis and applications of RNA-seq. At the same time, we want to present a computing cluster capable to perform bioinformatic analysis placed in Bolivia, known as CnCaBo.
