TENORIO¹, Reynaldo and MOLLINEDO2,*, Patricia A.. Inhibitory capacity of filtrates from trichoderma inhamatum and caiophora andina over phytopathogens of theobroma cacao. Rev. Bol. Quim [online]. 2016, vol.33, n.3, pp.116-126. ISSN 0250-5460.
Abstract The filtrates of cultures of Trichoderma inhamatum and hydroethanolic extracts of Caiphora andina were assayed in vitro over pathogen strains of Theobroma cacao (cacao). The inhibition percentage after determination of the hifal growing in vitro were: for Trichoderma inhamatum Bol 12-QD, 11% in Moniliophthora spp (fourth day); 20% in Colletotrichum spp. (eleventh day); 46% in Phytophthora spp. (ninth day). The inhibition percentage for hydroethanolic extracts of Caiophora andina were: for the stem-leaves extract, 36% in Moniliophthora spp. (fourth day), for the flowers extract, 27% in Moniliophthora spp. (fourth day), for the stem-leaves extract, 20% in Colletotrichum spp. (seventh day), for the flowers extract, 24% in Colletotrichum spp (seventh day), for the stem-leaves extract, 31% in Phytophthora spp. (ninth day), for the flowers extract, 38% in Phytophthora spp. (ninth day). These results indicate that these filtrates are appropriate for the control of growing of phytopathogen fungi in Theobroma cacao.
