Abstract

ALIAGA CONDORI, Vanesa Grace; BLANCO CAZAS, Mario; PALENQUE VIDAURRE, Eduardo  and  CABRERA MEDINA, Saúl. Synthesis and characterization of CuInS2 (CIS-TYPE) produced by the method solvothermal. Rev. Bol. Quim [online]. 2015, vol.32, n.4, pp.65-73. ISSN 0250-5460.

The CuInS2 (CIS) spherical particles were synthesized by the solvothermal method. The CuInS2 have high micro crystalline domains of the CIS type phase at high temperatures (180°C) and long times (6h). In the solvothermal process, the crystallinity increases vs. a decrease of the spherical shape, resulting in a cluster of smaller crystalline particles. The UV-visible spectrophotometry and electric characterization show semiconductors properties in these materials with band gap in the order of 1.4 eV.
