ABSTRACT A chemical investigation of the chloroform extract of the leaves of Prumnopitys exigua afforded two methylenedioxybenzene compounds. The structure and relative configuration of the isolated compounds, of which one is known and one is new, were established by NMR spectroscopy and HRMS.
