This text analyzes the imaginaries of the forthcoming, as personal future, of young adults, students of two public universities in Mexico City, in two temporary periods of the pandemic, as well as the transformation they suffered as a result of it. In two periods, one year, and almost two years after the start of the pandemic, they report having gone through a process of personal transformation in their goals and values, as well as a vision of the future that is not always positive, but hopeful.
