This article addresses the conflict of boundaries between the municipalities of La Paz and Mecapaca based on the perceptions and positions of the system of actors who have been involved. We find that is not only about physical and social space, but also in this logic of positions there are opposing social imaginaries which develop from the categories of urban residence wich acquire more relevance and help to understand this conflict.
