JAMETT PIZARRO, Cristian; PEREZ MORA, Alexander; CORNEJO GONGORA, Victoria  and  SAMIT GARCIA, Jean. Progressive scope and limits. Temas Sociales [online]. 2021, n.49, pp.40-59. ISSN 0040-2915.  https://doi.org/10.53287/xofh6514wp48m.

This article presents an analysis of the election manifestos of Dilma Rousseff (2011), Michelle Bachelet (2014), and Cristina Fernández (2015). The research is based on the Manifesto Project methodology for analysis of political texts and manifestos, which codifies units of meaning, which are then positioned according to the unit’s location in the ideological axis “Progressive/Social democrat” and “Neoliberal/Neoconservative”. This methodology aims to determine the ideological position of the manifestos, to analyse them according to the political sociology of Antonio Gramsci.

Keywords : election manifestos; hegemony; subalternity; southern cone.
