The article encompasses the incursion of Chinese enterprises and commodities in regional popular markets highlighting the articulations and global circuits borne out of these connections. The kind of relation between China and regional popular markets appears to question concepts and ideas such as the “Beijing Consensus” or the “South South Cooperation” inducing us to ponder other kinds of global connections.
