Abstract

This brief story about the constitution of Uyuni market, currently one of the most popular of the city of Potosi, describes the social strategies they developed a group of women to generate commercial exchange relations in a suburban neighbourhood Potosi city between 1968 and 1980. Market Space Uyuni then be called. This account also allows for reflection on issues that have not been addressed or clarified by the recent academic production: When can consider that an urban space becomes a market?
