CASTRO-PALOMINO, Luis y CORAS, Eulogio Alanya. Digital tools in teacher performance: systematic review. Horizontes Rev. Inv. Cs. Edu. [online]. 2024, vol.8, n.32, pp.288-299. Epub 10-Ene-2024. ISSN 2616-7964. https://doi.org/10.33996/revistahorizontes.v8i32.723.
This study addresses the changes in the global educational system, highlighting the growing relevance of virtual education today. The objective is to analyze the technological tools used by teachers and students in the field of virtual pedagogical didactics. A systematic review was carried out using the PRISMA method, considering database sources such as Dialnet, Redalyc, Scielo and Elsevier. The search descriptors were "Digital tools" and "Teaching performance", resulting in the identification of 60 original articles published between 2016 and 2022. After applying inclusion and exclusion criteria, 21 articles were selected for analysis. The findings highlight the importance of continuous teacher training in the use of digital tools, despite difficulties such as low digital competence and resistance to change. The potential of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) to facilitate interactive and dynamic learning is highlighted, as well as the need to adjust the curriculum to current demands. Conclusions emphasize the urgency of developing digital competencies and collaborative strategies to address the challenges of virtual education.
